Terms of Use and Disclaimers

This web-site is to give English speakers a place to read doujinshi in their language.

Rules:

Please don't pick fights. Respect everyone involved in this, please-- including both readers and staff.

Warning:

Doujinshi on this site may not be suitable for children under the age of 15.
Please understand that everything that is being showcased here has a Boy Love / Yaoi / Homosexual theme, and some may contain explicit material. If you are uncomfortable with this, please go somewhere else.

Rated R Doujinshi:

All doujinshi that could be considered inappropriate for viewers under the age of eighteen (18) shall be posted in the and put under friends lock. Therefore, by joining or “friending” this community you are agreeing that you are of legal age to read this content.

Disclaimers:

No copyright infringement is intended. All characters, stories, and artwork remain property of their original creators, and those who have bought the copyrights to the aforementioned ideas etc.

We do not own Kishimoto's "Naruto” All characters and related logos belong to Masashi Kishimoto, Shueisha, and TV Tokyo.

We do not own Takeshi Konomi's "Prince of Tennis." All characters and logos etc belong to Takeshi Konomi, Viz Communications, Inc.,TV Tokyo and other copyright holders.

Furthermore, all doujinshi here does, first and foremost, belong to the original creators and those corporations with which the author or authors are affiliated, and secondly their respective doujin circle.

Do your best to support and respect these artists. We encourage buying the doujinshi for sale by the circles.

Purpose:

This community is intended for entertainment purposes; we are not making money off of this. We do however spend a lot of time and effort on the translations, editing and posting of these works.

We are supplying these works to the general public, therefore, there is no need to redistribute. We have an on-line viewing option, and a zip-file available for personal use. These doujinshi are being translated for entertainment purposes. Please don't sell these or host them elsewhere as a common courtesy to all people involved.

Doujinka Support:

We encourage supporting the original creators (of the manga) and the fan artists (doujinka) through any way that directly benefits the aforementioned people. Sadly, even buying doujinshi from eBay, or Yahoo Japan does not directly support the artists—doujinshi from these sites is nearly always from a second-hand source, not the artists themselves.

Unfortunately, because of the nature of doujinshi (fan products produced by fans), there are going to be some arguments in opinion of copyrights and their holders.

We do not wish to debate the ethics of translating doujinka's work, or distributing of fan-based work-- such as fan-fiction, fan-art or fan-comics. Please refrain from holding these discussions on the boards.

Series:

We're not limiting ourselves to any one series. These are some of the series we're thinking about dabbling in: Prince of Tennis, Naruto, & Harry Potter.

Translation Requests:

If you have a doujinshi you want translated, send us an email at gokujyou.relief [at] gmail.com

Meghan
meghan_icon.jpg

Meghan has studied Japanese for a while. She has passed the national Japanese Proficiancy test in Japan with a good score, probably because she lived with a Japanese family and spoke Japanese all day (every day) for 10 months. And she has many kanji dictionaries (and a sometimes-used regular dictionary).

Meghan translates, and she's scanned several of our doujinshi.

Taes

The when-I-want-to translator

Taes is a sometimes-translator.
He edits what Meghan says, and translates when he manages to steal books. ;)
He mostly translates acute girls, and can occasionally be bothered for long enough to help with other translations.
Taes is a boy. He just likes dresses.
The primary scanners are Taise (twin, you won't hear from him) and Taes.
These two tend to laugh a hell-of-a-lot while scanning, so some pages need to be done twice...
He speaks Japanese and lived in Japan with a (different!) Japanese family.
He mostly writes stories, like Something of Love: Ai no Koto.
He's weird.
